The Awesome Ripple Story
Welcome. I hope you enjoy my jewelry designs as much as I do making them.
It all began when I started lessons at TDW studio on Queen West in Toronto. Immediately I loved working with wax, metal, flame and hammers -- just like all metal forgers since time immemorial -- and grew to embrace a giant learning curve.
The name Awesome Ripple is borrowed from Raven Ann Potschka' s story (with her permission from S1 E8 of Abandoned) when she was walking through the woods talking so beautifully about the regeneration of Haida Gwaii: “....I believe so much in every decision you make creating a ripple that goes out into the rest of the world -- you can send out a really AWESOME RIPPLE." Thanks for the inspiration to create ripples, Raven.
